When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and (if using Google sign-in) your Google profile information. We also store the portfolio data you enter — tickers, quantities, and average prices.
Your data is used solely to provide the Portolio service — displaying your portfolio, fetching relevant SEC filings, and saving your archive and notes. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
SEC filings are sourced from the public EDGAR database. We do not modify filing content. Filing data is cached to improve performance.
We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Your data is stored in a MongoDB database. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We take reasonable measures to protect your information.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
